Tim & Kirsty

On a beautiful April morning I headed over to Liverpool to meet with Tim and Kirsty, who got engaged in September last year. Whilst the proposal was a very romantic one (on a beautiful beach in Cuba whilst the sun was setting), our location for their engagement photoshoot wasn't quite as exotic!

We headed to the seaside at Crosby, only minutes from where they live, a beautiful setting and home to the artist Antony Gormley's Another Place. Another Place consists of 100 cast-iron, life-size figures spread out along three kilometers off the shore, stretching almost one kilometre out to sea.

Despite the sunshine in the morning, when we were at the beach the wind had picked up and the cold had set in. This didn't stop us though and we have some lovely shots of Tim and Kirsty, which I hope they are pleased with!

The statues on the beach created a really interesting back drop to some of the photo's and we were lucky to have the sunshine break through the clouds and the wind die down as well, which allowed for less windswept photo's too.

With the wedding plans well under way for April next year, I'm sure that it will be a fantastic day to remember and I wish both Tim and Kirsty an abundance of happiness in their lives together.

To see more of the photo's, take a peek in the Tim & Kirsty gallery.

It is with great honour that Kirsty and Tim have asked me to be the photographer at their wedding next year. I can't wait for it already, but am grateful that I still have time to hone my skills to make sure that I capture what will no doubt be, a picture perfect day.
