Darren & Steph
May 13, 2012 at 18:56 In the midst of all the rain we've had in April and May, I was thrilled that the sun shone brightly on Darren & Steph's wedding day. But as good things happen to good people, it's no surprise that it was the perfect day for this wonderful couple.
The ceremony was beautiful, with friends and family filling the church watching Darren and Steph become husband and wife. The vows were certainly emotional and there were definitely more than just a few people wiping away happy tears!
As the register was signed the Farmers Quartet sang and music filled the church before the newly weds walked out as Mr & Mrs. In all the style that is fitting for the happy couple, they sped off from the church in a roofless jeep, their sunglasses on and jingling cans trailing along behind on the road.

Up at Glenlough Farm, the reception started with drinks in the sunshine whilst photo's were taken against the stunning back drop of the fields and on top of the life sized elephant sculpture! Drinks were flowing from the ice bar (literally a bar made of ice) and the chocolate dipped strawberry's adorned the ice swans. It was a wedding with Darren and Steph's style and skill all over it.

Once inside the marquee/barn, rows and rows of beautifully set tables were soon filled with people and the eating (and more drinking) commenced! The food was delicious and before we knew it the speeches were in full flow, with lots of laughter and cheer.
As the night carried on the action moved onto the dance floor, with a ceilidh band leading the Manx dancing to start with. And after the cutting of the cake, (any cheese lovers idea of heaven), the DJ kept everyone dancing late into the night.
It was truely a beautiful day full of love and laughter and I wish Darren and Steph all the happiness in the world in their married life.
